Description

A little adventure. A special retreat.

Your journey to Finca Argayall is already part of your time away. It takes you to a secluded bay on La Gomera, between steep mountain slopes, a tropical garden and the open Atlantic. A little gem away from the bustle, where you can leave everyday life behind.

Once you arrive, you can slow down with yoga, intuitive archery and time for yourself. Listen to the sea, enjoy the company of others and find quiet moments between movement and simply doing nothing. Melanie and Gerhard guide you through a week that combines a spirit of adventure with rest and renewal.

Yoga & your centre

Slow Flow Yoga and focused pelvic floor training combine mobility and stability. Conscious breathing accompanies the exercises.

Intuitive archery

From imagining the shot to working with bow and arrow, you explore stance, tension and release with close attention to your body.

Meditation & free time

Silence, nature and community complement the practice. Between sessions, there is time to swim, rest and enjoy your surroundings.

Your guides

Melanie Tressel

Melanie Tressel is a body therapist, yoga teacher and massage therapist with more than 25 years of experience. She has taught yoga since 1999, combining precise anatomical alignment with caring awareness, humour and a grounded approach that fits into everyday life. Her years of practice led her to develop Effective Pelvic Floor Training. She also teaches continuing education courses for yoga teachers at BDYoga. She works in Germany and on La Gomera.

Gerhard SeiHo Wiedemann

Gerhard SeiHo Wiedemann is a Zen priest, archery teacher and bowyer. In his Berlin workshop, he makes traditional wooden bows, combining craftsmanship and precision with many years of archery experience. He has practised Zen for many years and leads retreats that bring together zazen, meditative archery, bow making and experiences in nature. His calm, precise approach focuses less on hitting a target and more on presence, clarity and the quality of each action.

We allocate shared rooms by gender. If you book a place in a shared room and no second person books a place in your room, the single occupancy rate will apply. The Pyramid is available for single occupancy only on this retreat.

Winter 2026/27 rates per person per night, including full board. Accommodation and any single occupancy supplements are payable in cash at the finca.
